There is a song that is out right now by Bebo Norman that I have really been able to relate to. I'm going to post the lyrics. I've had a hard time trying to find time for a quiet time and take care of a (and now two) kid(s). May we always remember that God's plan and desire for us is so much better than ours. That lesson is so clear to me when I take something from Titus that is not good for him. He gets so upset, but that's because he doesn't realize that I have something better for him. He just doesn't understand the big picture.
I want to run, it’s my nature to run
And I want to fight, it’s my nature to fight
And I want to live, but you tell me to die
I have resolved that I’m much better off in your hands than mine
I’m begging you to hold on tight
Begging you to hold on tight
Begging you to take my life from me
I want a crumb, but you are a feast
I want a song, but you are a symphony
I want a star, but you are a galaxy
And I have resolved that I’m much better off in what you have for me
I’m begging you to hold on tight
Begging you to hold on tight
Begging you to take my life from me
So tell me you won’t let go
Tell me you won’t let go
Cause you are the only hope for me
Take my life from me, It’s the only hope for me
Take my life from me, It’s the only hope for me
And I’ll never want for more
I’ll never want for more
I’m begging you to hold on tight
Begging you to hold on tight
Begging you to take my life from me
So tell me you won’t let go
Tell me you won’t let go
Cause you are the only hope for me
You’re the only hope for me
Yeah, you’re the only hope for me

June?! Already?

Wow! Time just flies when you're chasing kids. Life is good right now. Titus has adjusted well. Quintin is getting past the crazy newborn stage. He is sleeping better, crying less, smiling and making the cutest noises. He is growing like crazy. Tim started his part time hours this week. I am so excited about that. No more daycare!!! It's not that we will have any more money in our pockets, but it is good to have them at home. Monday was rough. I was wondering if I was cut out to be even a remote form of a stay at home mom. But we got out of the house a little Tues and Wed and things seemed to go better. This morning, Titus is playing outside in his underwear, having a great time. I think I will still trying to take advantage of some Mom's Day Out things to keep him used to being left with other people, but he doesn't have to get bit all the time this way.
Keeping him home has also allowed us to start potty training him. They weren't willing to work with us until he was 2 (despite the fact that they took another little girl to the potty all the time). He is doing pretty well so far. Still cleaning up lots of messes, but no outright defiance. I'll take what I can get. He is good about telling us when he needs to go.
We are looking forward to a trip to Missouri in July. We should be there by the evening of the 23rd and are planning to stay just under a week.
Since I'm posting, I'm going to add some new pics and maybe a video. Quintin rolled over for the 1st time a few weeks ago and I managed to catch it on video.

Quintin Glenn!!!
Our new addition has finally arrived. He made his entry into the world March 31 at 6:24 am. He was 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 20 in. long. To add to the obvious joys of welcoming a new baby, I didn't have to have a c-section! My labor was very short. I was only in the hospital for 3.5 hours before he was born and I got to go home just over 24 hours after his birth. Praise God for so many answered prayers!
He is 1 week old today and is above his birth weight. He is a great nurser. That has been so much easier this time. Titus loves him and is adjusting really well. Tim and I are as well. Toting two little ones around is a handful, but they are both a joy.
Thank you for all the prayers, gifts, and food. We appreciate it so much.
