New skills

Titus is still amazing, though we are biased. :-) He learned what to do when you point a camera at him. You will see the cheesiest smile ever!
His language skills have exploded over the past week or two. He knows where most all of his body parts are and he will try to repeat most anything you ask him to. He never fails to impress us!
On a more challenging note, he is asserting his independence. He knows what he wants and will tell us just how upset he is when he doesn't get it. He gets into everything. He is still far more interested in random household objects than age-appropriate toys. Tim says he will be a great mechanic one day! You can tell by the way he reacts to events that he is really starting to understand how things work.

Pumpkin Decorator Extraordinaire

Yesterday, I let Titus decorate a little pumpkin with fingerpaint. He was a little timid at first, but he got into after a while. He wore daddy's old Allied shirt as a smock, which he thought was quite funny. He even learned how to say pumpkin, sort of.

Fall Festival

These pictures are from Titus' fall festival at his daycare. I made him a duck costume since that was one of the first words he learned. He also learned quickly what a duck says, even though it comes out more "kack" than "quack." His little toddler waddle made the costume! They had a costume contest. He made it to the final round, but didn't win. That's okay. He was the best in our mind!! He did earn the name Ducktitus or Ductitis. Not sure how to spell it, but thought it sounded like some sort of condition. He gets to dress up again tonight for the Trunk or Treat at church.

Fall Festival

Sorry this is sideways. Apparently, you can't turn the camera longways and do a video. Live and learn. You get the idea anyway. When I asked him what a duck says and he said "bee" and waved his hand, he was saying "fish" and making the sign. Fish usually comes out "beesh " The fish tank is right next to him.

We took Titus down to the pond to feed the ducks a few weeks ago. We all had a good time. Titus ate more of the duck food (cereal) than he fed the ducks, but he still had a good time.
